Clare Press is the presenter of the Wardrobe Crisis podcast and Australian VOGUE's Sustainability Editor-at-Large. A passionate advocate for ethical fashion, she is Australia's go-to journalist on the subject, and sits on the Australian advisory board of Fashion Revolution.
Author of three books - The Dressing Table (Penguin, 2011), Wardrobe Crisis, How We Went From Sunday Best to Fast Fashion (Nero, 2016), and Rise & Resist to be published by Melbourne University Press in October 2018 - Clare’s prolific career began as a senior writer at Rolling Stone, and spans past appointments as Vogue features director, Marie Claire fashion editor, Instyle columnist, features director and writer of Sunday Style’s 'Fash Fwd’ column and Daily Life’s hugely popular Sustainable Style column. Over a career spanning nearly two decades, her byline has been everywhere including: AnOther, Nylon, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Fashionista, the Sydney Morning Herald and more.
